Dangerously Close

Author:
Sandra Glover is a popular, award winning author of books for both teens and younger readers. Married, with three grown-up children, Sandra lives in Cumbria where she works for a literacy consultancy and runs Writing Workshops. She's a qualified teacher who enjoys giving talks in schools.

Sypnosis: When Dee's traumatised family start a new life, she is relieved to find two uncomplicated, fun-loving friends. But with the onset of problems for one, and a controlling boyfriend influencing the other, Dee notices frightening parallels with her own troubles. Is she seeing things clearly, though?
And will her efforts to help mean revealing family secrets? Secrets they so desperately want to keep hidden.

Review: This book is gripping with many wmotions about a girl who has many problems and she wants to start anew but she begins with a rocky start as her friends have their own problems to take care of. As usual, Sandra Glover ends the book with a question mark and it is up to us to fill in the ending. I highly recommend this book.
